The University of Lethbridge's policy on Sexual Violence was approved by the University Board of Governors in April 2016. It reinforces the University's commitment to university-wide activity aimed at awareness, education, resources and supports to members of the University community as it relates to all aspects of this issue. Sexual Violence Information Website
The Sexual Violence Information website provides information for the University Community on the supports available both on and off campus following an incident of sexual violence. Whitney Balog is the Sexual Violence Support and Education Coordinator in Counselling Services at the University of Lethbridge. She holds a Master of Social Work degree from the University of Calgary and is a Registered Social Worker. Whitney is dedicated to offering empathetic, accessible, and respectful support to individuals impacted by sexual violence, while also nourishing education and awareness efforts within the campus and Lethbridge community. If you choose to seek help on campus following an incident of sexual violence, Whitney can offer support and information as you consider pathways for healing.
