Accidental Humour Co is proud to present the second chapter in the McCrackin Saga. Fresh off their encore performance at the Edmonton International Fringe Theatre Festival, this fast-paced send-up of action movies follows the adventures of the titular hit-man, Jim McCrackin, as he comes to terms with the possibility of being a father while simultaneously being targeted by a clandestine organization. Turns out they want him, and his particular set of skills, to pull of an impossible heist. The payoff? They know where his son is.  Can McCrackin balance his desire to become a better person for his son against his killer talents? Or will the whole thing come off the rails with hilarious results?
Spoiler: hilarious results.

At the University Theatre for one weekend only, see the hilarious stage antics and high-octane video projections in McCrackin 2: The Whackining, by alumnus Amos Altman (BA ’04, BFA ’05).  This is a follow up to the wildly popular Happy Whackin’ Jim McCrackin, which played in the University Theatre last September.

Now based in Edmonton, BFA alumni from the U of L make up the core members of Accidental Humour Co.  Kimberlee Stadelmann (’06), William Banfield (’06), Cliff Kelly (’07), Brent Felzien (’06), and Neil LeGrandeur (’06), join Janine Waddell Hodder and Alex D. Mackie in this exciting and innovative sequel.  “The show has done really well so far – we were held over at the Edmonton International Fringe Festival this year (one of six shows chosen from 211 shows).  We also received two five-star reviews,” says Stadelmann, stage manager, costume designer, and lighting designer.

Don’t miss this over-the-top multimedia spectacle from the masters at blending stage and screen, Accidental Humour Co, as they pull out all the stops to bring you their most ambitious, ridiculous, action-packed adventure yet.
