For Markin Atrium there will be two tables and a few chairs placed near the elevators in Markin Hall.  As stated above these are first-come, first-served.  If you arrive and a table is not available you will need to make arrangements to promote your event or cause on another day.

When booking AH 100, Markin Hall Atrium, or University Centre for the Arts Atrium:

Remember that there are mandatory set up and clean up times to consider when making your booking. These times need to be added into your timeline for the event. For example: If you are booking AH100 from 9:00am – 2:00pm please make the time on your booking from 8:00am – 3:00pm.

  • AH 100 -1 hour (before and after)
  • Markin Atrium/Quad/Patio - 1 hour (before and after)
  • UCA Atrium/Patios - 1.5 hours (before and after)

Facilities does event set ups between the hours of 8 am and 4 pm Monday through Friday only.

  • So, for example, you want to host an event at 8 am in the morning, be sure to request the space at the end of the previous day (3pm-4pm) so that Facilities has ample time the day prior to set up your event.
Cleaning is from 5am – 1pm. Any events that require cleaning outside these hours are subject to a charge.
  • For example, if an event was in Andy’s Place from 8:00am – 12:00pm and you would like to use the space from 2:00-4:00pm and would like the room cleaned prior to your event a charge may apply.

Have you sent out information about your event to the appropriate departments so everyone knows what is happening?

  • Advisory email to the departments involved
  • Place a Notice on the Notice Board

Please ensure your event is in compliance with University Policies:
