Academic Advising

There are a number of different people on campus who are available to help you with everything from:

  • how your transfer credit fits into your program
  • what's a major (and the other terms you will encounter)
  • how to navigate the services available at the University
  • how to access the courses you want and need, and
  • how the courses you've chosen will meet your degree requirements.

Academic Advising

Academic Advisors in each Faculty/School are available to assist students with program planning. Advisors are available at workshops, and for walk-in and appointment times. You can ask an Advisor about academic regulations, course selection and program planning. You must consult with an Advisor to register in courses excluded from web registration or to change your program of study or your Calendar year. Contact the relevant Faculty/School for information about appointments or advising sessions.
