On behalf of the University of Lethbridge, I want to express my sincere and deepest condolences to the University of Alberta family and campuses and communities throughout the country during this extremely difficult time.
The tragic plane crash that claimed the lives of 176 people, including 57 Canadians and 10 faculty, staff and students from the U of A community has hit everybody hard.
As post-secondary partners, we are all feeling the weight of these losses and offer our support to the friends, families and colleagues of those who perished through our thoughts and wishes.
The University of Lethbridge will lower all its flags out of respect to those deceased.
