Please stay clear of campus wildlife

This notice is from the archives of The Notice Board. Information contained in this notice was accurate at the time of publication but may no longer be so.

The University of Lethbridge is built into the coulee slopes along the Oldman River, an area that is also habitat for a number of animals, including prairie rattlesnakes, common garter snakes, deer, Richardson ground squirrels and other wildlife. We share our space with them and some are protected species.

Campus Safety urges respectful caution in regards to our campus creatures. Please do not feed, handle or approach any of our campus wildlife. If there is an unsafe situation with any animal (especially snakes), please call Campus Safety 403-329-2345.
