Need Space? Next Onsite Shredding is Monday, March 19

This notice is from the archives of The Notice Board. Information contained in this notice was accurate at the time of publication but may no longer be so.

Our shredding service provider will be on campus on Monday, March 19. If you have material that you want/need to have shredded, please note that it must be received in our office by Friday, March 16 to be shredded this month. Any materials received after this date will be held for shredding until our next shredding day, which is in May.

If you work in an academic department, please remember that all unclaimed student work from Fall 2016 (or earlier) should be destroyed no later than May 31, 2018. If you have any student work that needs to be destroyed, please be sure that it is received in our office no later than Friday, March 16. Remember, we can also store more recent student work until it is eligible to be destroyed.

To send us student work for storage or destruction, please use the form (and instructions) available at: www.uleth.ca/records-management/student-work

For transitory and non-record material, please use the form (and instructions) available at: www.uleth.ca/records-management/shredding-transitory-records

We prefer shredding to be sent to us in paper boxes and have many that we can send you; just email records@uleth.ca and let us know how many you need.

If you aren’t sure what is transitory (and not a University record) and can be shredded, use the guides available on our website (www.uleth.ca/records-management/guides) and let us know if you have any questions.
