Calling all student volunteers!

This notice is from the archives of The Notice Board. Information contained in this notice was accurate at the time of publication but may no longer be so.

The Student for a Day program is an opportunity for students to volunteer on campus. If you are aware of a student who would be a positive mentor for future students please direct them to this opportunity. The Student for a Day program allows a current student to host a prospective student and bring them to their classes and labs, share their University experience, and go for a free lunch. Their time will count as volunteer hours and, to top it off, they’ll get a reference letter to help build their resume!

Volunteers are needed for such programs as: Agricultural Studies, Addictions Counselling, Anthropology, Archaeology, Art Studio, Computer Science, Digital Audio Arts, Drama, Geography, all Management programs, Nursing, Physics, Public Health, Sociology, Social Studies Education, Women’s Studies, and Technical Design.
