11th Annual Chinook Symposium for Chemistry and Biochemistry

The Chinook Symposium is sponsored by the Department of Chemistry & Biochemistry at the University of Lethbridge. The mandate of the symposium and associated poster prize is to recognize students performing original research in the department by showcasing their research from the last year.

Registered Authors will compete, if eligible, for Poster prizes (first $200, second $100) in Biochemistry & Chemistry in the following categories:

  • Chinook Poster Prize - B.Sc. level
  • Chinook Poster Prize - M.Sc. level
  • Chinook Poster Prize - Ph.D. level

 

Furthermore, the top undergraduate presenter and the top graduate presenter will each be awarded the Canadian Journal of Chemistry Award for Best Student Presentation, a $100 prize per presenter.

Also featured is guest speaker Dr. Lewis Kay, winner of the prestigious Canada Gairdner International Award 2017. Further details to follow.
