Diana Young's Retirement English Tea

This event is from the archives of The Notice Board. The event has already taken place and the information contained in this post may no longer be relevant or accurate.

After 30 years of service with the Faculty of Arts & Science, Diana Young has decided to “retire”. Please note the quotation marks as we are certain you’ll see Diana’s radiant smile on campus long after her “official” retirement date. :)

Those of you who have had the privilege of meeting Diana will know her as a high-energy individual with a gleeful laugh and an undeniable English charm.

Diana’s passion for assisting students began in 1986 when she joined the University of Lethbridge. In 1994, Diana founded the Arts & Science Co-operative Education & Internships program.

Never one to shy away from a challenge or hard work, Diana has grown programming within her office to include Applied Studies as well as co-op for students in Fine Arts and Public Health, and recently co-op for grad students in arts and science.

Thanks for the past 30 years and congratulations on your retirement.

In celebration of Diana’s dedication to the University of Lethbridge, please join us for an English tea on Friday, December 16, 2016, 1-3pm in Andy’s Place. Although this will be a drop-in event, we will have a brief presentation at 1:15pm. No RSVP necessary. We hope to see you there!
