Discovery Grant Workshop

While this workshop is intended to provide grant information and proposal development support for U of L researchers that intend to apply for or renew an NSERC Discovery Grant this fall, all researchers are welcome to attend.
Please join Gillian Laird (ORIS Grants Facilitator, Natural Sciences) in B640 as we go over the basics of a Discovery Grant application, with a particular focus on grant writing tips and strategies, building a budget, and NSERC’s evaluation criteria. There will also be the opportunity to hear top tips from U of L faculty who have recently served on Discovery Grant Evaluations Groups.
Light refreshments to be provided to fuel our road to Discovery Grant excellence.
