Funding Sources

There are a wide range of scholarships, awards, grants, and bursaries available through Scholarships & Student Finance (SU-065). These are granted based on academic proficiency, financial need, leadership potential, community involvement, artistic ability, etc.

You might also consider an Applied Study or a Co-operative Education term to gain experience, make contacts, and be paid while earning university credit.

The department hires student markers at the beginning of each semester.

Several of the department's professors also hire research assistants each Summer.

Tutoring local Jr. and Sr. High School students, as well as university students, may also be an alternative source of funding.
