The University of Lethbridge Board of Governors has appointed Dr. Michelle Helstein as Associate Dean of the Faculty of Arts and Science.

Helstein, a professor in the Department of Kinesiology and Physical Education, has extensive administrative experience across a wide range of activities at the U of L including curriculum design.

Helstein will serve a three-year term starting July 1, 2016.

The University of Lethbridge Board of Governors also reappointed Dr. Thelma Gunn as Associate Dean, Faculty of Education.

Gunn, a professor in the Faculty of Education, is a former junior and high school teacher who has worked extensively with students in the University’s Master of Education program, both in terms of membership and supervision.

Gunn will serve a three-year term effective July 1, 2016.
