Northwest Passage - Canadian Arctic



					Normally there were 2 or maybe 3 Mounties at a detachment. By going on patrol, visiting the few who lived in their area, exploring and looking for new routes from place to place they were establishing a Canadian presence in the High Arctic

		The Native constables with their families had separate quarters. The writing below was on an interior wall of the structure in the foreground.
