Religious Studies Conference, May 1-2

The Department of Religious Studies is presenting its 8th Annual Research in Religious Studies Conference, Saturday and Sunday, May 1-2 at the University of Lethbridge.

This conference will showcase student research into religious expression around the world. Following is a conference schedule.

Conference Schedule

Saturday, May 1

8 a.m. (TH204, Turcotte Hall) - Registration Cost: $15 (conference sessions) + $25 (banquet) = $40.00; payable on site.

9 a.m. (TH204, Turcotte Hall) - Opening Remarks/Opening Session

All other sessions for Saturday, May 1, will take place in Anderson Hall.

6 to 10 p.m. - Conference Banquet (Coulee Junction, 6th Floor, University Hall). The year's keynote address will be given by Prof. Christine Mitchell (Department of Religious Studies, University of Saskatchewan). Her presentation will be Who's a Real Woman? Who's a Real Man? Gender-bending in the Book of Judges
