Physicists on campus for conference

The inaugural Canadian Prairie Theoretical Physics Network (CPTPN) conference will take place at the University of Lethbridge this week, Wednesday, Aug. 25 to Thursday, Aug. 26.

About 40 participants, including established and younger physicists from across prairie universities and beyond (Ontario, Quebec, Taiwan) have registered for the meeting, with an expected 30 research papers to be presented over the two-day event.

The CPTPN aims, among other things, to facilitate interactions and collaboration among its members, and offer graduate course opportunities to its student members, especially to those from smaller and medium size universities
