New after-degree nursing program

As a generation of nurses readies for retirement, the University of Lethbridge has recognized a future need for registered nurses with the introduction of a new degree program.

In collaboration with Lethbridge College, the U of L is introducing a new Bachelor of Nursing after-degree program, which will begin in fall, 2009.

The program is designed to offer an accelerated course of study to a Bachelor of Nursing for students who have previously earned an approved degree in any discipline or field of study. To be completed in six successive semesters, the degree allows motivated students to fast track to the workforce.

The new program is part of the U of L's commitment to increase educational opportunities for students interested in pursuing careers in the health professions.

Applications are now being accepted for this program. For more information about the new program, contact the Faculty of Health Sciences' Academic Advisor, Sherry Hogeweide at 403-329-2269 or click on this Bachelor of Nursing after-degree program link.
