When University Hall opened its doors in 1972, its radical design set the University of Lethbridge apart in architectural and academic circles alike. Since then, campus has grown significantly but the University of Lethbridge has remained committed to providing a unique campus experience. Nestled in the coulees of southern Alberta, the University of Lethbridge gives students, faculty and staff room to think, create and explore. With vibrant and flexible spaces to study, live and work, our university offers an unparalleled student experience and a meaningful and productive environment for faculty and staff. And this is just the beginning.
On the eve of our 50th anniversary, we are looking to the future.
We need additional residences for students, more functional learning spaces, better-equipped labs and improved formal and informal community spaces. We need to keep reducing our environmental footprint, conserving energy, and reducing waste. The Destination Project, a new science and academic building, will help meet these goals, advancing our region and province, and providing incredible opportunities for generations to come.
