Open Studies Students

Open Studies allows you to take courses for general interest without being formally admitted to a university program.

Courses taken as an Open Studies student will appear on your transcript as credit courses completed. Your registration dates are later than most students and you will only have access to courses as space permits. For Open Studies registration dates check the Important Dates and Deadlines.

As an Open Studies student you may apply for formal admission or readmission to a program at any time. Courses completed as an Open Studies Student will be included in the admission decision process.
