5th on 5th Youth Services provides a variety of programs and services for youth ages 15 to 30 years of age. It is a project of the Lethbridge Youth Foundation, a not-for-profit organization incorporated in 1994.

The mission of 5th on 5th Youth Services is to support youth, through programs and services, in becoming responsible, capable, caring individuals by providing opportunities to pursue goals in:

Saamis Aboriginal Employment & Training Association

Aboriginal Employment & Training Association is a non-profit organization that was incorporated November 1998. Our office has been open since February 1997. With the aid of a Board of Directors and program staff, we have been able to provide our clients with Labour Market Training projects, and resources that have benefited all Aboriginal People in our area.

 

Our Goal, is to assist First Nations and Metis people achieve employment self-sufficiency by working in collaboration with our community and external partners to facilitate quality career & employment opportunities.

 

Our Vision is that all Metis and First Nations People will have pride in their heritage and have equal opportunity to pursue their goals, hopes and dreams.

The purpose of the Aboriginal Council of Lethbridge is to ensure that the services are meeting the socio-economic needs of Aboriginal People now and into the future. The basic challenge of the committee is the focus on social inclusion of Aboriginal people within the community, as well as providing a bridge between cultural differences.
