In the past, U of L Edmonton students were welcomed to attend the U of A Business Career Services (BCS) employer information sessions.  However, in the past two years sessions by firms have diminished and this year is no exception.  For this reason they are directing all students to the Meet Your Employer events as the primary means of meeting employers.  We want to thank the BCS for their past support!

If you are a registered co-op student, you are still welcome to take part in the Accounting Recruitment process, please see their procedures here [PDF].

Make sure your resume is ready and your interview skills are up to par! We offer many workshops to prepare you for the recruiting process. Click here to see the schedule and to register your attendance.  You can also find interview tips here

Find out about the DELOITTE Buddy Program

This program allows students to connect directly with Deloitte’s 1st year staff accountants, analysts and consultants in our Audit, Enterprise Risk, Financial Advisory and Tax service lines. Students are able to read through buddy bio’s and select a buddy that they feel they connect to by initially reaching out to them through email or LinkedIn. We highly suggest they request a one on one meeting and tour our office!  The Deloitte Buddy acts as a guide and advocate throughout the recruitment process and is able to provide the student with one-on-one time to answer any questions and help with their application. This program is beginning July 2015 and will continue until October 2015. To view the bio’s, students simply email and the bio’s will be sent straight to their email.
