Welcome to the Accommodated Learning Centre!

Functioning within Student Services, the Accommodated Learning Centre facilitates equitable learning supports in the university environment for students with a wide range of disabilities. Core services include: learning plan development, exam accommodations, assistive technologies, alternate format resources, funding assistance, general advising as well as personalized support staff including, Educational Assistants, Academic Strategists, Tutors and Note takers. The ALC strives to accommodate those students whom have documented disabilities in the hopes of enhancing their chance of success at our great institution.

The University of Lethbridge maintains a students with disabilities policy that falls in line with federal and provincial legislation related to the "duty to accommodate", and the provision of equitable access for students with disabilities. Our staff take great pride in developing strong relationships with students, faculty and staff in order to ensure disability supports are collaborative, meaningful and timely. The Accommodated Learning Centre staff work with students in relation to their documented disabilities or learning limitations to ensure supports are responsive to their evolving needs.
