Dr. Pascal Ghazalian

Dr. Pascal L. Ghazalian is Associate Professor of Economics, in the Faculty of Arts and Science, at the University of Lethbridge. He is also a Research Affiliate of the Prentice Institute for Global Population and Economy. He received his Ph.D. from the University of Saskatchewan, Saskatoon, Saskatchewan, Canada in 2006. He obtained his M.S. and S.P.U.D. from the International Center for Advanced Mediterranean Agronomic Studies-Mediterranean Agronomic Institute of Chania (ICAMAS-MAICh), Chania, Crete, Greece in 2000 and 1999, respectively. Dr. Ghazalian also served as a post-doctoral research fellow in the Center for Research on the Economics of Agri-food (CREA) at Université Laval, Quebec City, Quebec, Canada from November 2005 to June 2008, before joining the Department of Economics at the University of Lethbridge. He has been a visiting scholar to a number of universities, such as University of British Columbia in Vancouver, Canada, and Nijenrode University in Breukelen, the Netherlands.
