Wintery weather creating slippery conditions throughout campus

This notice is from the archives of The Notice Board. Information contained in this notice was accurate at the time of publication but may no longer be so.

As westerly winds whip around campus and stir up last week's freshly fallen snow, University of Lethbridge Grounds reminds everyone to please be careful as they make their way to and from classes and work.

Grounds has been responding to a number of troubled areas throughout campus, clearing fallen snow from building roofs and minimizing icy patches.

It is once again forecast that the Lethbridge area will be receiving snow overnight Tuesday and into Wednesday, along with gusting winds.

The University of Lethbridge encourages everyone to monitor weather conditions and alerts through the Environment Canada website, and to check on road conditions through the AMA Road Reports website.

Please be safe on your commutes to and from the University and, while on campus, continue be mindful of the conditions of parking lots and walking paths.

In the event that severe weather adversely affects campus operations, that information will be posted on the Notice Board.
