Electrical contractors are currently finishing up removing and replacing old fire alarm system wiring to complete the work on this project. Engineers are required to carry out inspections on a few remaining devices as part of the sign off process. These checks will be completed in all areas on Wednesday, Thursday and Friday next week (reading week). We will complete the work on Friday November 17th with a short test which involve flashing the strobes for a few minutes to check that they are functioning as expected. This test is scheduled between 5am and 7am on the 17th.
