Wanted: Shining Students

This notice is from the archives of The Notice Board. Information contained in this notice was accurate at the time of publication but may no longer be so.

Are you a shining student? Shining students are engaged inside and outside the classroom. What makes a student shine may differ from person to person but a passion for learning is a trait they share. Are you a top student or involved in an innovative project? Doing ground-breaking research, playing Pronghorn athletics, fighting for social issues or all of the above?

Peer to peer engagement plays a key role in recruiting new students; it lends authenticity and illustrates the extraordinary opportunities available at the University of Lethbridge. When students find something they enjoy and combine it with what they are good at, they shine; exciting student work will show future students that they too will shine at uLethbridge.

We want to showcase shining students at our 2016 Open House — will you be one of them?

We are looking for students at the undergraduate and graduate levels to display their work or talk about a transformative experience. You can showcase a business plan completed last year or present a new media portfolio. Display and talk about a poster you made for a past independent study or do a presentation about your co-operative education placement. How to display your work is up to you!

Please help make our Open House a success. If you are a shining student, let us know by filling out the
survey in the link below!
