University mourns tragic passing of international graduate students

The University of Lethbridge is saddened to share with its community that two international graduate students have died following a vehicle collision that occurred yesterday (Monday, July 23, 2018). At this time, the University has not received confirmation that families have been informed of these tragic deaths. The University offers its sincere condolences to the families and friends of the deceased. The University is reaching out to friends and acquaintances of the departed students to ensure they can access supports if needed.

We know that many members of our community will grieve the loss of these students. Members of our community can seek assistance through Counselling Services (http://www.uleth.ca/counselling/) at 403-317-2845 or through the University of Lethbridge Employee and Family Assistance Program at 1-800-663-1142.

The University will share more details, as appropriate, in the coming days.
