Update - Due to schedule openings with the concrete supplier and the hydrovac contractor, work will continue to complete the install of the stair piles. The Coulee Trail road restriction will now continue from Friday, June 26 to Friday, July 3; from 7:00am - 5:00pm.The roadway will be restricted to a single lane towards the bottom of the hill.
Contractors are scheduled from June 15th to July 31st to install concrete stairs along the hillside from the UCA North Patio level 6, to the level 4 sidewalk. At times this work will require a hydrovac truck, concrete truck and concrete pumper truck to be situated in the south lane of the Coulee Trail road, near Lot H and Lot I. There will be several concrete pours which are scheduled to start at approximately 6am, with completion to be attained as soon as reasonably possible, to return the roadway to two way traffic. Specific road closure dates will be emailed to you, and posted on the Notice Board as the concrete pour dates are determined.
Construction road signs will be placed along Coulee Trail and flag persons will be on site to direct traffic.
Please slow down, obey road signs and flag persons for your safety, and the safety of the workers.
