Summer/Fall 2014 Course Registration Has Resumed!

This notice is from the archives of The Notice Board. Information contained in this notice was accurate at the time of publication but may no longer be so.

The following is a notice from Acting University Registrar Charles Jorgenson:

Registration has resumed for Summer/Fall 2014. Add/Drop for the fall semester began on April 15 and ends on September 9. To register for classes, log in to the Bridge www.uleth.ca/bridge.

Registration Guides are available online at www.uleth.ca/ross/registration-information.

The timetables for Summer and Fall 2014 are available at www.uleth.ca/ross/class-schedules-timetables.

Here are a few important notes about registration:

  • In order to register, all outstanding fees must be paid in full, including those for Spring 2014.
  • You must register by Thursday, May 1, to be guaranteed access to your program’s required courses.
  • You cannot be waitlisted for courses unless you register during your assigned early registration time period.
  • To register for a course, all of the components must be included (course, lab, tutorial etc.). If a component is missing, it will not allow you to register in that course.
  • If you accidentally register in multiple sections of the same course, you will be removed from all sections, except the initial section you registered in, without being notified. If this error occurs more than once, a hold will be placed on your account. If this happens, simply contact the Registrar’s Office for assistance.
  • If you are missing course prerequisites, your registration may be cancelled without notice. In unique circumstances, you may apply for a waiver if you lack the course prerequisites. Please contact your Faculty advising office for more information www.uleth.ca/ross/academic-advising.
  • If you aren’t successful in getting into a course required for your major, you may want to submit a course request to your Faculty academic advising office. Keep trying to register in the course – students are constantly changing their schedules and you may secure a seat before your academic advisor is able to get one for you. If so, please tell your Faculty advising office.
  • You will receive an e-mail listing the courses you have successfully enrolled in during the registration period.

If you have questions, do not hesitate to use the Registration Help Line at 403-329-2052, drop by the Registrar’s Office, call 403-320-5700 or e-mail regoffice.inquiries@uleth.ca.*

*Since registration questions are unique to the individual and may be complicated, for the best service please visit us in person or connect with us by phone.

Good luck with your classes.

Sincerely,
Charles Jorgenson
