The Department of Geography & Environment will be offering the following course and lab during Summer Session I, May 3 – June 14, 2021.

Course:  GEOG2300N (CRN: 20630), Lab:  GEOG2300L01 (CRN: 20633)

Title:  Weather and Climate

Lecture:  Day/Time: M/W from 6 – 8:45 p.m.

Instruction Method: Online

Prerequisites: One of Geography 1000, Environmental Science 2000, admission to the Post-Diploma B.Sc. in Agriculture Studies, admission to the Post-Diploma B.Sc. in Environmental Science, or admission to the Post-Diploma B.Sc. in Geography, with a Concentration in Geographical Information Science.

Introduction to the atmosphere.  Global circulation and the role of energy exchange.  Structure and behavior of world and regional weather systems.  Synoptic meteorology.  Bioclimatology.  Climate variation and cycles.
