Spaces are available in the following courses:

Women and Gender Studies 3700 - Advanced Research Practice (CRN 10594):

Instructor:  Dr. Jo-Anne Fiske

Tuesdays, 3:05-5:45

Description: Advanced research practice gives students the opportunity to develop research skills in a topic area of their own interest.  Students will study how feminists work in a range of communities to develop research projects and then develop a project of their own.  The class is student-centered and student-directed with respect to topics for discussion and action.

 

NEW!!  Economics 2850A/Women and Gender Studies 2850 CL (CRN 10255):

Instructor:  D. Townley

Tuesday/Thursday, 10:50-12:05

Description:  Basic economic principles are used to analyze and interpret the evolution of trends in work and income for both genders. Topics include: historical and current trends of time allocation in the household; gender differ-ences in the labour market related to age, race, geographical location, education level, sexual orientation, marriage and aboriginal status.
