Seeking Honorary Degree Nominations

This notice is from the archives of The Notice Board. Information contained in this notice was accurate at the time of publication but may no longer be so.

If you know someone who has made an outstanding contribution to society at the local, provincial, national, or international level, someone who has really made a difference in the lives of Albertans, then you know someone who merits consideration for an honorary degree from the University of Lethbridge.

Honorary degree recipients come from all walks of life and so do the people who nomination them.  So if you know someone whose contributions may make them worthy of one of the University's highest honours, please take the time to tell us about that person!

More information and nomination forms can be found on the Senate website http://www.uleth.ca/governance/honorary-degrees, or from the Senate Office senate@uleth.ca.

To be eligible, complete nomination packages must be received by November 1, 2020. Recipients are selected by the University of Lethbridge Senate from nominees provided by members of the general public and the University community. The Senate is empowered to confer honorary degrees by the Post-Secondary Learning Act of Alberta.
