Safe Walk Student Assistants Needed

The University of Lethbridge Safe Walk Program requires students to escort people and to act as visible symbols of safety and comfort on the University campus. The position is a student assistant position (approximately 4 to 8 evening hours per week) and successful applicants will be responsible for ensuring that University of Lethbridge students faculty and staff have the option of being accompanied while walking on campus.  Our goal is to work together for the best interest of all in providing a safe and secure environment on campus.  This position requires Safe Walk individuals to be outgoing and have excellent customer service skills.  All successful applicants are subject to a mandatory police criminal record check and vulnerable sector record check.

Qualifications:

Must be a part-time or full-time student.  First Aid and CPR would be an asset.  International students must provide proof of being legally entitled to work in Canada.  (Study Permit and S.I.N. number)
