Coming Soon – To a Washroom Near You!

University of Lethbridge Caretaking is constantly seeking out ways to reduce the campus environmental footprint and a new initiative has proven to be very successful.

For the past two months, Caretaking has been running a pilot project in Turcotte Hall encouraging people to recycle paper towel products used in the building’s washrooms.

New cloth bags located in the washrooms are now available for people to place their used paper towels.

As well, new grey bins have been placed around Turcotte that are intended for all other paper products.

From the success of this pilot project, the initiative will be expanded until it is campus wide in time for the Fall 2015 semester.
