New Service Portal

What is this notice about?

IT Services will be implementing a new online Service Portal, replacing our current system. If you have previously used our system to report an incident or request a service from IT Services, the new experience will be improved.

When will this happen?

The Service Portal will be launched on December 11, 2017 at 8:30 AM. Access to the current system will be unavailable as of 5:00 PM on Friday, December 8, 2017.   There will be no self-service access over the weekend while we prepare the new system and transfer any active/outstanding service requests.

Who is affected and how?

Any University faculty, staff or students who use the current system to report issues or request services from the ITS team will be affected. The “Request Help” link on the IT Services website (https://www.uleth.ca/its) will be updated on Monday to direct users to the new system.

Why is this happening?

The new Service Portal provides a greatly enhanced user experience and many new capabilities that will be rolled out over the coming months to better serve the University community.
