The Library’s Current Serials collection has been updated and is now in Library of Congress call number order. Previously, the serials were arranged in alphabetical order by title. The collection remains in the same location on level 10 south.
This update groups the serials (journals, magazines, and trade publications) by their subject which helps to locate relevant titles easier. It also keeps the order consistent with the other collections in the Library, such as the Main and Reference collections.
The print newspapers have also been moved from their former location on the north-facing wall to the shelves preceding the Current Serials collection.
You can submit comments or suggestions about this change, or anything else about the Library, in person at our comments/suggestion box located at our service point or online.
