IMPORTANT NOTICE
ASBESTOS REMOVAL-UNIVERSITY HALL BLOCK C/D Level 6, A454 & UCA W440, W890
Please be advised between July 11 to July 31, contractors will be performing asbestos removal in University Hall in the level 6 hallway of sections C & D and A454. In addition, there are removals occurring in University Centre for the Arts, W440 and W890. Containment entrances will be set up within the room or hoarding.
Removals are completed consistent with the requirements of the Alberta Occupational Health & Safety Code and performed by trained and certified workers pursuant to the required code of practice to ensure that there is no health risk to the public or construction workers. Air monitoring will be completed by an independent environmental technologist and the reports will be posted on Campus Safety’s website.
