Images of Research Graduate Student Competition Call for Submissions

Working on a unique project? Want to show the community what research looks like in your discipline and why it matters? Tell us about your work through an eye-catching image!

The Images of Research competition is a new, unique opportunity for Graduate Students at the University of Lethbridge to display their research, scholarly and artistic work. The aim of the competition is to provide graduate students with an artistic alternative to highlight their work, as a way to celebrate the diverse research at uLethbridge. 

The School of Graduate Studies and Graduate Students’ Association invite Graduate Students to submit a visually impressive and clearly described image that informs, engages and intrigues a diverse audience.

Winners will be selected by a panel of multidisciplinary judges and announced on Friday March 11th, 2016 at the Meeting of the Minds Conference.  Entrants are encouraged to attend, admission is free. Prizes are available for First and Second place, as well as a People’s Choice selection.

All entries must be received by Monday, February 29th, 2016 by 4:30 pm.  Late Entries will not be accepted. Entries can be sent to sgs@uleth.ca or alternative arrangements can be made by contacting Stacey Leavitt at stacey.leavitt@uleth.ca.   Submissions will be accepted until Monday, February 29th, 2016 at 4:30 pm.
