University of Lethbridge International invites staff and faculty (and their families) to participate in our new program, Host an International Student for the Holidays. This program is intended to bring uLethbridge international students into the homes of Canadian staff/faculty for one meal during the holidays. The Christmas holidays can be lonely for our international students, as friends and roommates leave Lethbridge to visit family. We hope that bringing families and students together will lessen loneliness and provide a cultural learning opportunity for our international students.
The meal should take place between December 22 and January 3. If you wish to invite students to your family Christmas dinner, this is certainly welcomed. However, the meal can be planned around family events at a more convenient time during the holiday break.
