This notice is from the archives of The Notice Board. Information contained in this notice was accurate at the time of publication but may no longer be so.

Beginning on Wednesday, Mar. 18, 2020, designated on-campus Wi-Fi spaces will be available for students in Anderson Hall, specifically AH147, AH118, AH117, AH176, AH116.

To limit the spread of COVID-19 and keep our community healthy, all students are strongly encouraged to stay home if possible. These spaces are only available for students who are unable to access Wi-Fi at home.

The University has secured a number of laptops that students can utilize on a short or long-term (end of term) basis. Students can sign out laptops in AH175 (Anderson Hall) starting today at 10 a.m. Students interested in signing out a laptop should bring their student identification number.

If you think you need these tech supports, or to sign out a laptop, please fill out this short survey.

For everyone’s safety:

Only 15 students are permitted to be in each work space at one time

Students are required to maintain a distance of 6 feet (2 metres) from each other

Hand sanitizing is required before and after leaving the area

These are temporary workspaces and may have time restrictions placed on them to accommodate demand.

Free parking is available in Lot F.

For details, please visit the Proctor in AH147 from 8 a.m. to 8 p.m.

Students who have travelled outside of Canada in the last 14 days; been in close contact with a confirmed or probable case of COVID-19; or have a fever, cough, runny nose, shortness of breath; are not permitted to use the Designated On-Campus Wi-Fi Spaces.

Let’s work together to keep our community safe and healthy.
