COVID-19 — Shipping/Receiving and Mail Services

This notice is from the archives of The Notice Board. Information contained in this notice was accurate at the time of publication but may no longer be so.

As the (Lethbridge) campus moves to a controlled campus access model, Materials Management is making changes to their mail delivery model. Any department requiring mail pickup or drop off will need to identify one staff member to be responsible to collect and drop off mail at the Parkway Services Building (or a person who can be called on to receive deliveries).

At the walk-in door beside Bay #2 (east side of the building) there is a buzzer that will alert Materials Management personnel.  Designated individuals will identify themselves, present identification, and wait outside to receive mail. All outgoing mail must be properly posted.

Hours of operation for mail service are 8:30 a.m. to 12 p.m. and 1 to 2 p.m.

The following areas have been identified as high-need for continuity of service:

  • Financial Services
  • Cash Office
  • Registrars Office
  • Research
  • Facilities
  • Housing
  • President's Office

Those expecting deliveries can contact Shipping and Receiving at Shipping@uleth.ca to inquire about their delivery. Staff will respond as able.

Many areas have already indicated they are not present on campus and do not require delivery at this time. We appreciate your communication so that we can minimize the load on the mail service staff.
