In order to contribute to the “flattening of the curve" for COVID-19, the University of the Lethbridge is encouraging residence students to vacate our residences and return to their homes if possible.  Please note that our University residences will remain open. For those students who cannot return home, or feel it is safer for them to stay on campus, you may continue to remain in our residences. Please abide by social distancing measures.

For students unable to return home beyond April 20, 2020, arrangements can be made to remain in our residences.

Housing and Dining Plan fees will be refunded for any student who elects to move out of residence prior to March 31, 2020. Campus Housing and dining plan contracts will be cancelled with housing and dining plan base dollar fees pro-rated to the date your room key is received in Housing Services.

If you have already moved out and still have your key, please notify Housing at housing@uleth.ca that you have left. This notice is required to initiate your refund. Your refund will be pro-rated from the date you informed our office of your departure. No penalties will be applied to any refunds or transfers.  All refunds will be credited to your student account.

Dining plan refunds

Your base dollar portion will be pro-rated on the same basis as your Housing refund. Your Flex Dollars will roll over to Bridgebucks in May. No penalties will be applied to any refunds or transfers.

Cancelled Residence Contract

Once a residence contract has been cancelled, a student may not return to residence under the same contract.

Urban Market Open

For those students who are remaining on campus, Urban Market is open for service. Monday to Sunday, 11 a.m. to 6 p.m.

The University will continue to support students in our residences and will keep you informed if there are new developments regarding COVID-19.
