The University of Lethbridge expresses its sincere condolences to the family and friends of Lisa Peterson, a philosophy student who passed away suddenly over the Canada Day weekend.
Peterson, 33, was pursuing a bachelor's in philosophy at the time of her passing and was just one course shy of achieving her academic goal. She will be honoured with a posthumous degree at the Fall 2017 Convocation.
A funeral service for Lisa will be held in Creston, B.C. on Saturday, July 15 at 10 a.m. at Holy Cross Catholic Church. The University will lower its flag in honour of Lisa on Monday, July 17, 2017.
