The University of Lethbridge extends its sincere condolences to the family and friends of Chancellor Emeritus Dr. Keith Robin (LLD ’92), who passed away on Friday, June 8 at the age of 92.
A teacher and educational administrator, Robin was a friend of the U of L from its earliest days. He was a U of L Senator, serving four three-year terms, before being elected chancellor. Robin, a longtime advocate for the U of L, was chancellor from 1987 to 1991.
Robin devoted much of his time to serving the community, including the Kiwanis Club, Heart and Stroke Foundation, Science Alberta Foundation and the Lethbridge Music Festival. More information about Robin is available on the University Secretariat website.
A memorial service is scheduled for Monday, June 18 at 2 p.m. at McKillop United Church, located at 2329 15 Ave. S. The U of L will lower its flag that day in honour of Robin.
