The University of Lethbridge extends its sincere condolences to the family and friends of Nathan McCowan (BMgt ’11), who passed away on Sunday, January 8 in Vancouver, B.C. at the age of 29.
Born in Calgary, McCowan came to the U of L to study management. He was elected to the U of L Students’ Union as vice-president internal and, in this role, also served on the U of L Senate and on the General Faculties Council during the 2010-2011 term. A funeral mass is scheduled for Monday, January 23 at 10:30 a.m. at St. Mary’s Cathedral in Calgary.
In honour of McCowan, the U of L will lower its flag on Monday.
