Condolence Notice—Frances Pollock

The University of Lethbridge extends heartfelt condolences to the family and friends of Frances Pollock, who passed away in Edmonton on Saturday, January 14 at the age of 86.

Born and raised in Winnipeg, Pollock moved to Vancouver after finishing high school. She then came to Lethbridge and married her husband, Sidney, in 1952. She and her husband raised three boys. Pollock worked as a library clerk at the U of L from 1969 to 1988.

A memorial service is scheduled for Saturday, January 21 at 1 p.m. at McKernan Baptist Church in Edmonton. More details can be found online.

The U of L will lower its flag on Saturday in honour of Pollock.
