Each year a U.S. scholar joins the University of Lethbridge as a Fulbright Visiting Research Chair for a semester. The Chair receives a stipend and is expected to be in residence at the University of Lethbridge throughout the term of the award. This is a unique opportunity for promising and prominent American scholars as well as experienced professionals to conduct research, to develop new professional networks, to guest lecture, and to engage with faculty and students.
The U of L has two Visiting Chair opportunities:
- Fulbright Canada Visiting Research Chair in Water and the Environment.
- Fulbright Canada-Norlien Foundation Distinguished Visiting Research Chair in Brain Science, and Child and Family Health and Wellness.
The Fulbright program is accepting applications until August 1, 2016 for the 2017/18 academic year. If you currently collaborate with a U.S. scholar, or wish to develop a collaborative relationship, please encourage him/her to apply.
