Be(e) Heart Smart - ParticipACT Your Way to a Healthy Lifestyle! Physical Activity challenge for staff and faculty

Be(e) Heart Smart - ParticipACT Your Way to a Healthy Lifestyle!

The Be(e) Heart Smart (also known as Be(e) Amazing Race) is an initiative to encourage wellness and increased physical activity among staff and faculty at the University of Lethbridge. You can count the steps from your car in the parking lot to your office, and/or your daily run.  The Physical Activity Guidelines indicate that adults should accumulate at least 150 minutes of moderate to vigorous aerobic physical activity per week in bouts of 10 minutes or more (including brisk walking!)  So, let’s get moving!

  • This year's theme is all about healthy habits - 6 Weeks to Healthy U and a partnership with ParticipACTION to see if we can be awarded the title of Canada's Most Active Community!
  • When: Challenge Starts May 6, 2019 - June 16, 2019
  • Early Bird Registration will be open April 29, 2019

Each week will provide you with new opportunities to start a new healthy habit, and tips, badges and prizes to keep you on track.
