IMPORTANT NOTICE
ASBESTOS REMOVAL - UNIVERSITY HALL – D547
Please be advised that during the period of May 14-18, 2018, contractors will be performing asbestos removal in University Hall D547. During this time, there will be no admittance into this space.
This is a normal procedure for any repair work executed involving asbestos abatement. The removal will be completed to the standards required by the Alberta Occupational Health & Safety Code, and performed by trained and certified workers pursuant to the required code of practice to ensure that there is no health risk to the public or construction workers. Air monitoring will be completed by an independent environmental technologist, and the reports will be posted on the Safety Services website.
