Students and community members come together to learn from innovators and entrepreneurs who are leading change within organizations. The purpose of this conference is to expose students to the opportunities associated with family and small business. This conference also enables those involved in family and small business with an opportunity to present and participate in this annual conference on timely topics, innovation, and future trends.

We look forward to your attendance and participation throughout the day with two outstanding keynote speakers and six local entrepreneurial presenters.  All facilitated by Trevor Lewington, CEO of Economic Development Lethbridge.

Our format for the Day:

  • 9:00 am - Registration 
  • 9:30 am - Keynote Speaker - Derek Juno, Vice President Mealshare
  • 10:45 am - Presenter Series I – Obed Maurice, Maxim Management / Bryn Hewko, Output Media / Patricia Luu, Umami Shop
  • Lunch – Ask Anything Session 12:00 am
  • 1:00 pm - Presenter Series II – HJ Weiden & Taylor Sheahan, IGEM / Jennifer McCarthy, Teacup Tiny Homes Ltd. / Melrene Saloy-EagleSpeaker / Native Diva Creations
  • 2:15pm - Keynote Speaker - Graham Sherman, Co-Founder Toolshed Brewing Company
  • 3:30 pm - Reception
